Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Tallinn Old Town, the best way to reach Püha Katariina kiriku hauaplaadid is by walking. Start at the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats), which is a central location and easy to find. From the Town Hall, head south towards Pühavaimu Street (Pühavaimu tänav). Continue straight until you reach Müürivahe Street (Müürivahe tänav). Turn left onto Müürivahe Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The hauaplaadid are located at Müürivahe 35, which will be on your right side. Look for the entrance to the churchyard where the graves are located.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a tram or bus to reach a nearby area. From any point in the Old Town, walk to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Vabaduse Väljak' (Freedom Square) or 'Tallinna Raekoja Plats' stop. Take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Balti Jaam' and get off at the 'Vabaduse Väljak' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Müürivahe 35. Walk along the street until you reach the hauaplaadid, which will be on your left.

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can park at the nearest public parking area, such as 'Kalamaja Park' or 'Rotermann Quarter'. Be aware that parking in the Old Town can be limited and may incur costs. After parking, it is best to continue on foot due to the pedestrian-friendly nature of the Old Town. From either parking location, follow the directions for walking from the Town Hall Square as described earlier.
