Walking
If you are starting from the Tallinna Bussijaam (Bus Station), exit the bus station and head southeast towards Laikmaa Street. Turn left on Laikmaa Street and continue straight until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto Gonsiori Street. Continue straight, and you will reach the Viru Gate, which is one of the entrances to Old Town. From here, you can explore the medieval streets of Old Town Tallinn.
Public Transport (Tram)
If you are at the Tallinn Railway Station (Balti Jaam), exit the station and head to the tram stop located right outside. Take tram number 1 or 2 towards 'Kopli' or 'Tondi'. Get off at the 'Viru' stop. After exiting the tram, walk towards the Viru Gate entrance of Old Town. This will lead you directly into the heart of Old Town Tallinn.
Walking
From the Tallinn Old City Marina, exit the marina and turn left. Follow the coastal promenade until you reach the intersection with Tartu Road. Cross the road and continue straight to reach the Viru Gate. Once at the Viru Gate, you will be in Old Town Tallinn, where you can explore the beautiful streets and historical sites.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, take bus number 2 towards 'A. Laikmaa'. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Viru' stop. After getting off, walk towards the Viru Gate entrance to Old Town. This is a direct and convenient route to reach the heart of Old Town Tallinn.
