Walking
If you are starting from the Tallinn Old Town, head towards Toompea Hill. Walk along the Viru Street, which will lead you to the Pikk Jalg street. Continue straight, and you will reach the Toompea Castle. From there, take the steps down to the lower town, keeping the castle on your right. Once you're at the bottom of the steps, continue walking towards the Freedom Square (Vabaduse Väljak). From Freedom Square, head towards the Estonian National Museum (Eesti Rahva Muuseum). Continue along the street until you see the signs for Skoone Bastion. It is located near the coast, and it will take approximately 20-25 minutes to walk from the Old Town.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Tallinn Old Town, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Viru Keskus'. Take bus number 20 or 27 towards 'Kopli'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Skoone Bastion' stop. The bastion is just a short walk from the bus stop, and you will see signs directing you to the historical landmark. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate timings.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are several bike rental locations in the Old Town. Rent a bike and head towards the coast. Follow the bike paths along the promenade towards the west. The ride to Skoone Bastion will take about 15-20 minutes, and you will enjoy the views of the Baltic Sea along the way. Once you reach the area, park your bike and walk towards the bastion.
