If you are starting from the Tallinn Old Town area, make your way towards the Toompea Hill. Head towards the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, which is a prominent landmark. From the cathedral, take the steps or the winding path up to Toompea Castle. Follow the signs for Toompea Castle, which will lead you to Lossi plats. Once you reach Lossi plats, you will see Toompea Castle directly ahead.

If you are further away, you can take tram number 1 or 2 from various locations in Tallinn to the 'Tallinn University' stop. From there, walk towards the Old Town and follow the signs to Toompea Hill. Once you reach the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, follow the walking instructions above to reach Toompea Castle.
