From Tartu University, head southwest on Narva Rd (E263) towards the city center. Continue on Narva Rd for about 2 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Raatuse Street. Continue for 1.5 km and take the exit onto Tartu-Põlva road (E263). Follow this road for about 8 km. Once you approach Äksi, look for the signs directing you to the Ice Age Centre, which is located at Saadjärve 20. There is free parking available at the Ice Age Centre.

Start from Tartu University and walk to the nearest bus stop, Tartu, Jõe. From there, take bus number 24 heading towards Äksi. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Äksi stop. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to the Ice Age Centre. Head southeast on Saadjärve Road until you reach the Ice Age Centre at Saadjärve 20.
