Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Tartu, start at the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats). From the square, head southeast on Rüütli Street towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the Tartu River, then turn left and follow the riverbank. After a short walk, you will reach the pedestrian bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the other side. You will see the university buildings on your left. Keep walking until you reach the main entrance of the University of Tartu, located at Ülikooli tn 18.

Public Transport
From the Tartu bus station (Tartu Bussijaam), take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Lõunakeskus'. Get off at the 'Ülikooli' stop. From there, walk north along Ülikooli Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the University of Tartu at Ülikooli tn 18. The university will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the city’s bike-sharing stations. Start from the center of Tartu and head towards Rüütli Street. Follow Rüütli until you reach the river and then take the bike path along the riverbank. Continue cycling towards the pedestrian bridge, cross the bridge, and follow the bike path to Ülikooli tn. The university will be on your right side. There are bike racks available for parking at the university.
