Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at Tartu Town Hall, located in the heart of Tartu. From the Town Hall, head east towards Rüütli Street and turn left. Continue walking along Rüütli Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Pärnu Road. Turn right onto Pärnu Road and walk straight for approximately 400 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Tartu River Promenade. Follow the promenade along the river, and after about 200 meters, you will see the Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve monument on your left, situated in a small park area.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer to use public transport, find the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 4 or number 5 towards the 'Raatuse' station. Once you arrive at the Raatuse stop, exit the bus and head south towards the Tartu River. Follow the river promenade westward for about 300 meters, and you will see the Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve monument on your right in a small park area.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from Tartu University. Head south towards the Tartu River and follow the bike path along the riverbank. Continue cycling west for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several parks and scenic areas. As you approach the roundabout near the Tartu River Promenade, keep an eye out for the Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve monument on your left as you cycle along the promenade.
