Walking
Start at the Valga Bus Station (Valga Raudteejaam). Exit the station and head southeast on Koidu Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Aia Street. Turn left onto Aia Street and walk for another 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Oru Street. Turn right onto Oru Street and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will then reach the main road (Tallinn - Tartu Road). Cross the road and continue straight, following the signs towards Helme. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see the signs directing you to the Helme Order Castle Ruins. Follow the signs until you arrive at the ruins.
Public Transport
From Valga Bus Station, take a bus heading towards Helme. The bus schedule may vary, so check the latest departures at the station or online. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Helme stop. Once you arrive, follow the signs toward the Helme Order Castle Ruins, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will walk along the main road, and it’s well-marked, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it.
