Turn left onto Tartu Street and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the edge of Valga. Here, you will see signage for hiking trails leading into the forests surrounding Pikkjärve. Follow the hiking trail signs, which will guide you through the woods to Pikkjärve lõkkekoht. The hiking distance from the bus station to Pikkjärve is approximately 3 kilometers, and the trails are well-marked.

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Valga. Start at the Valga bus station and head east on Rüütli Street towards Pika Street. After 300 meters, turn right onto Pika Street. Continue straight until you reach Tartu Street, then turn left. Follow Tartu Street for about 1 kilometer. Look for bike paths that lead into the forest area near Pikkjärve. The biking distance is approximately 3 kilometers, and it should take about 15-20 minutes to reach Pikkjärve lõkkekoht.
