For those using public transportation, start at the Viljandi bus station located in the town center. Check the bus schedule for routes heading towards Tartu or other nearby villages. Take a bus that stops at 'Karksi-Nuia' or similar stops near the hiking area. The bus ride typically lasts about 15-30 minutes.
