From the center of Big Bend, start by heading south towards the main road. Walk along the main road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Hlane. Turn left onto this road. Continue walking straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass small villages and local shops. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Hlane Royal National Park. As you approach the park, the road will become more rural and scenic. Once you reach the entrance to Hlane Royal National Park, continue straight for another 2 kilometers. Eventually, you will see a sign for Bird Hide on your right. Follow the path indicated by the sign to reach the Bird Hide.
