Car
From Lavumisa Border Post, head northwest on the main road (MR3) towards the town of Lavumisa. Continue on MR3 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the MR1. Turn left onto the MR1 and follow it for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Malolotja National Park, which will be on your left. The entrance to the park is well marked. Be aware that there may be an entrance fee (approximately SZL 50 per person) to enter the park.
Public Transportation
From Lavumisa Border Post, take a minibus taxi heading towards Mbabane. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop for Malolotja National Park. This taxi ride may cost around SZL 30-50. Once you are dropped off, you may need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to the park entrance, so prepare for a short hike. If walking is challenging, consider hiring a local taxi to take you the rest of the way to the park entrance for an additional cost.
Private Taxi
For a more comfortable option, hire a private taxi from Lavumisa Border Post directly to Malolotja National Park. This will provide you with door-to-door service. The fare is typically around SZL 200-300, depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service. Ensure to confirm the return trip with the driver, as they may wait for you or arrange a pick-up time.
