From the center of Malkerns, start at the Malkerns Market. Head south on the main road (MR3) towards the town of Mbabane. Keep walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R34 road. Take a right onto the R34 road. Continue walking along the R34 for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Hawane Nature Reserve along the way. After 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of Hawane Nature Reserve.

Starting from Malkerns, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Begin your journey at the Malkerns Market and ride south on MR3. After about 2 kilometers, at the junction, turn right onto the R34 road. Continue cycling for approximately 3 kilometers, following the signs for Hawane Nature Reserve. The entrance will be on your right after about 3 kilometers of cycling.
