Getting There

Walking
From the center of Malkerns, head northwest on the main road towards the town of Mbabane. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the MR3 highway. From there, turn left onto the MR3 and continue walking until you reach the Bulembu road sign. This is located approximately 8 km from Malkerns. Follow the Bulembu road signs, which will lead you towards the town of Bulembu. After about 3 km, you will start to see signs indicating the direction to Mt. Emlembe. Keep following the signs, and you will eventually reach the base of Mt. Emlembe after about 2 km of walking on a dirt path leading up the mountain.

Bicycle
Starting from the center of Malkerns, take your bicycle and ride northwest on the main road towards Mbabane. After about 8 km, turn left at the MR3 highway and cycle for another 3 km until you reach the Bulembu road. Follow the Bulembu road signs, and you will ride for about 2 km on a dirt path until you reach the base of Mt. Emlembe. The route is mostly downhill and offers beautiful views along the way.

Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can hike directly from Malkerns. Start at the main square and take the trail that leads northwest towards Mbabane. This will take you through some beautiful scenery. After about 8 km, you will reach the MR3 highway. From there, head left towards Bulembu. Continue on this path for another 5 km until you reach the fork that points to Mt. Emlembe. Follow the trail that leads up the mountain. It is advisable to take plenty of water and snacks, as the hike can be challenging.
