Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any point within Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, head towards the main entrance and exit the sanctuary. Follow the signboards directing you to Malkerns. Take the M201 road, and after approximately 15-20 minutes of driving, you will reach Vickery Seedlings, which is the address for Mlilwane Game Sanctuary. Look for the entrance on your right. Keep in mind that there may be a small entrance fee for the sanctuary.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Mlilwane Game Sanctuary from Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary using public transportation, first, make your way to the nearest bus stop outside the sanctuary. You can take a taxi or a local bus heading towards Malkerns. Inform the driver of your destination, Vickery Seedlings. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Vickery Seedlings, follow the signs to the sanctuary entrance. Please have some cash ready for the bus fare, which is usually around 10-20 SZL.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking and are up for an adventure, exit the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and head towards the M201 road. The distance to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary is approximately 7 kilometers. It’s a scenic route, but be prepared to walk for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have sufficient water and wear comfortable shoes. You may encounter some wildlife along the way, so be cautious.
