Car
From Piggs Peak, head southeast on the MR3 road towards Siphofaneni. Continue on MR3 for approximately 30 km until you reach a fork. Take the left fork onto the MR8 road. After about 8 km, you will see signs for Mkhaya Game Reserve. Turn right onto a dirt road leading to the reserve entrance. There may be a small entrance fee charged per vehicle, so be prepared with cash.

Public Transportation
Start at the main taxi rank in Piggs Peak. Take a shared taxi (commonly known as a 'combi') heading towards Siphofaneni. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Siphofaneni, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you directly to Mkhaya Game Reserve, which is roughly a 15-minute drive away. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before beginning your journey. Expect to pay around 150-200 SZL for the taxi ride.
