Start at 'Meskel Square,' which is a central hub in Addis Ababa. Look for a bus heading towards 'Debre Zeit' or 'Bole Medhane Alem.' The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Awash River Bridge (you may need to ask locals for help if you're unsure). After getting off at the bridge, walk approximately 100 meters south until you reach the turn. Take the westward turn and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Melka Kunture Prehistoric Archeological Site.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Addis Ababa, particularly in the Bole area. Head towards the Awash River Bridge along the main road. After crossing the bridge, turn south and bike for 100 meters. Then, take a left turn (west) and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer.
