From the center of Sarbet, head east on Bole Road (also known as Africa Avenue). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Meskel Square. Keep an eye out for local landmarks such as the Hilton Hotel on your left and the National Museum on your right. Once you reach Meskel Square, take a left and continue walking north for about 500 meters. You will see the Dilachin Monument directly ahead in the Lideta area, marked by its distinct statue. The total walking distance is approximately 2 kilometers, which should take around 25-30 minutes.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From Sarbet, walk to the nearest minibus station (often referred to as 'bajaj' station) and look for a minibus heading towards Lideta. The fare should be around 10-15 Ethiopian Birr. Get on the bus and let the conductor know you are going to Dilachin Monument. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, the monument is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for the tall statue in the distance as a guiding point.

If you prefer a more active option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sarbet. Head towards Bole Road and cycle east for about 1.5 kilometers. After reaching the intersection with Meskel Square, turn left and continue cycling north for about 500 meters until you reach the Dilachin Monument.
