If you are starting from Sarbet square, head east on Sarbet Road towards the intersection with Bole Road. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection. Continue straight onto Bole Road. Walk for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Yekatit 12 Monument. The monument is located on your left side, and you will see it as you approach the area.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sarbet. Once you have your bike, cycle east on Sarbet Road towards Bole Road. After about 10 minutes, take a left onto Bole Road. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you see the Yekatit 12 Monument on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

From Sarbet, walk to the nearest minibus station. Look for a minibus heading towards the Gulele area. The fare is usually between 10-20 Ethiopian Birr. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for the Yekatit 12 Monument. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After you get off, you will have a short walk to the monument, which will be visible from the main road.
