If you are in the city center of Awasa, start by heading south towards the main road (Bole Road). Walk along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road that leads to the lake. At the junction, you will see a sign for the lake. Turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. You should now see the entrance to the park on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in the city center. Start by cycling south on Bole Road for about 1.5 kilometers. Upon reaching the junction with the road to the lake, turn left and cycle for another 500 meters. You will find the entrance to the park on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
Public Transport (Minibus)
To reach the park using public transport, find a minibus heading towards the lake area from the main bus station in Awasa. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you want to go to the park.
