If you are traveling by car, begin your journey towards Kiet-Terara from the main park entrance of Bale Mountains National Park, located near Dinsho. Drive along the main road heading east, following signs for Goba. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the town of Goba. From Goba, continue driving on the road leading to Burk'itu. Pay attention to the signs, as you will need to take a minor road that veers off towards the XR25+GC coordinate area. After about 20 km, you will arrive at Kiet-Terara. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as some sections may be unpaved and require careful navigation.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a minibus from Dinsho to Goba. Buses leave frequently throughout the day, and the fare is generally around 50 Ethiopian Birr. Upon arriving in Goba, you’ll need to find another minibus heading towards Burk'itu. Be sure to ask locals or the minibus driver if they stop near Kiet-Terara, as this may require some negotiation or waiting for a bus that has enough passengers to depart. The fare to Burk'itu should be about 30 Ethiopian Birr. Once you reach Burk'itu, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to the XR25+GC area, which is approximately 10 km away.
