Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Debre Markos town center, head south on the main road (Bishoftu Road). Keep walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction that leads to the Water Fall. Look for local signs indicating the direction to 'Water Fall'. At the junction, take a left turn and continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the Water Fall, the sound of the water will become more distinct. Follow the path that leads to the entrance of the park where the Water Fall is located.

Bicycle
If you prefer to rent a bicycle, start from the Debre Markos town center and follow the same route as if you were walking. Head south on Bishoftu Road for about 2 kilometers. At the junction, turn left and continue cycling for another 1.5 kilometers. The ride should take you through some beautiful scenery. Make sure to keep your bike on the path to avoid any obstacles. Once you reach the park entrance, you can lock your bike and walk the remaining distance to the Water Fall.

From the Debre Markos town center, find a 'boda boda' (motorcycle taxi) stand. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to the Water Fall. The ride should take about 10 minutes.
