    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Debre Markos, head east on Main Street (known locally as 'Bole Road'). Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with a large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road that leads towards the Addis Ababa highway. Continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will see a sign for St. George Church on your right. Follow the path that leads up to the church entrance.

    Bicycle

    Start at the town square in Debre Markos and rent a bicycle from a local shop. Head east along Main Street (Bole Road) for approximately 2 kilometers. When you reach the large roundabout, take the second exit towards the Addis Ababa highway. Continue cycling for another 1 kilometer until you see the sign for St. George Church on your right. Park your bicycle at the designated area before entering the church.

    Public Transport (Bus/Minibus)

    From the main bus terminal in Debre Markos, look for minibuses heading towards Addis Ababa. Board one of these minibuses and ask the driver to drop you off near St. George Church. The ride should take about 20-25 minutes. Once you get off, walk back approximately 200 meters towards the church entrance, which will be on your right.
