Getting There

Walking

From the Harar Grand Mosque, walk east along the main road (Jigjiga Road) for about 10 minutes. You will pass several small shops on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Jegol Wall. Turn left at the intersection and continue for another 5 minutes. The Harari National Museum will be on your right, just before you reach the entrance of the Jegol Wall.
Bicycle

Start from the Harar market area and head southeast on the main road towards the Grand Mosque. Once you reach the mosque, turn left onto Jigjiga Road. Cycle for approximately 10 minutes, passing by local shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection near the Jegol Wall, take a left and continue cycling for another 5 minutes. The Harari National Museum will appear on your right.
Local Transport (Bajaji)

From your location in Harar, find a Bajaji (three-wheeled taxi) by waving one down from the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Harari National Museum. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. The driver will likely take you along Jigjiga Road and stop right in front of the museum, which is easily recognizable by its entrance.
