If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Harar city. Take the main road heading east towards Jijiga. After approximately 46 kilometers, you will reach the town of Jijiga. As you approach Jijiga, look for the signs directing you to 'Karamara Mountain' or the West Gate. The mountain is located near the coordinates 9.3617° N, 42.6949° E, which is just west of Jijiga. You can park your car at the base of the mountain. Ensure to check your vehicle’s fuel prior to departure, as fuel stations may be limited in rural areas.
