Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Bahir Dar, which is approximately 5 km away from Armulch. Head southeast on Ethiopia St toward Abay Drive. Continue on Abay Drive for about 4 km. You will pass by local shops and markets. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating parks. Armulch is located at HF76+P6, Bahir Dar, and you should see it on your right as you approach the coordinates (11.564363, 37.460569). Parking might be available nearby, so look for designated areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Armulch using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Bahir Dar. Look for a minibus or 'bajaj' (three-wheeled taxi) heading towards the parks or local attractions. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, typically around 10-20 Ethiopian Birr. Inform the driver that you want to go to Armulch. Once you arrive at the closest drop-off point, it may require a short walk of about 500 meters to reach the park entrance. Follow the local signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
Walking
If you are staying in a hotel or guesthouse within Bahir Dar, consider walking to Armulch if you are nearby. From the center of Bahir Dar, head southeast on Ethiopia St. Continue straight until you reach Abay Drive, then turn right. Armulch will be situated on your right after about 4 km. This leisurely walk allows you to enjoy the local scenery and atmosphere, but ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
