Start your journey from the center of Lalibela, specifically from the Lalibela Church complex. Head east on the main road, passing by various local shops and cafes. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which is marked with signs pointing towards Shumisheha. Follow this path, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding hills and landscapes. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will come across a small local market where you can ask for directions to Lawober. From there, proceed to follow the path leading uphill for about 1 kilometer until you reach the area known as Lawober (ላወበር). Keep an eye out for local hikers, who can offer assistance if needed.
