Start at the Lalibela town center, specifically at the main market area. From the market, head southeast along the main road, passing by local shops and eateries. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path, which leads upwards towards the hills. As you ascend, you will notice signs pointing to Biete Qeddus Mercoreus. Follow these signs, and in about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to the church on your right side.

Alternatively, if you are near the Lalibela Lodge, exit the lodge and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left again and continue walking for another 600 meters, keeping an eye out for a small dirt path on your right. Take this path, which leads directly to Biete Qeddus Mercoreus. The church will be located just ahead as you approach the end of the path.

If you are coming from the Lalibela Airport, exit the airport and head towards the main road. Turn right and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a major intersection. At the intersection, turn left and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating Biete Qeddus Mercoreus on your left. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the church in about 300 meters.
