Walking
From the center of Mekele, head east on Haileselassie Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Aksum Road. Turn left onto Aksum Road and keep walking for approximately 4 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. After 4 kilometers, you'll come to a fork; take the right path towards Wukro. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Wukro. Once in Wukro, ask locals for directions to the Geralta reck churches, located approximately 2 kilometers outside of town. Follow any signs or local guidance to reach the churches.
