Starting from the center of Mekele, head north on the main road (Aksum Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road sign for Freweyni. Turn left at this intersection and continue walking for another 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way, which can be good stops for refreshments. Once you reach the outskirts of Freweyni, you will see signs leading you towards the town square. Follow these signs until you reach the main square in Freweyni, which is a central gathering place.

From Mekele, go to the nearest minibus station located near the central market. Look for a minibus heading towards Freweyni. The fare is usually low, and the ride should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Freweyni, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the town square.
