If you are driving, start from Addis Ababa. Take the A1 highway heading west towards Jimma. After approximately 320 km, you will reach the town of Jimma. From Jimma, continue on the road for about 30 km until you reach the junction for the town of Mizan Aman. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs towards Yayo Forest. Drive for an additional 35 km, and you will arrive at Yayo Forest, located near the coordinates 8.3995804, 35.8209413.

Public Transportation

To reach Yayo Forest via public transportation, first travel to Jimma from Addis Ababa. You can find buses or minivans at the Mercato bus terminal in Addis Ababa.
