From the capital city of Tórshavn, drive north on Route 10 towards Hoyvík. Continue on Route 10 until you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 40. Continue on Route 40 until you reach the sign for Tjóðsavnið (Faroe Islands National Museum) on your right. Turn right and follow the signs to reach the museum's parking lot.

Take Bus 3 from the Tórshavn Bus Terminal towards Hoyvík. Get off at the bus stop near the roundabout. From there, walk towards Route 40 and continue walking until you see the sign for Tjóðsavnið (Faroe Islands National Museum) on your right. Follow the signs on foot to reach the museum.
