Walking
From the center of Gøta, head towards the main road, Eysturoyartunnilin, which connects to Gjógv. Follow the signs leading to Gjógv. Walk along the path that runs parallel to the road, ensuring you stay safe. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the village of Gjógv. As you approach Gjógv, you can admire the scenic views of the surrounding cliffs and ocean.
Public Transport
From Gøta, look for the nearest bus stop on the main road. Take bus number 300, which operates on a limited schedule. Inform the driver you are heading to Gjógv. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Gjógv, walk towards Eysturi á Veg. Gjógv Kirkja is located at 15 Eysturi á Veg, just a short walk from the bus stop.
