Walking
From the city center (Steinatún square), walk northeast on Gongin towards Vaglið. Continue onto Tórsgøta, then turn right onto Skansavegur. The panoramic view will be on your left, approximately a 15-20 minute walk. This route involves a moderate incline.
Public Transport
Take the free red city bus (Bussleiðin). All lines converge at Steinatún Square. Check the schedule for the most convenient route that includes a stop near Skansavegur. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the panoramic view. Note that bus schedules may be limited on weekends.
Driving
From the city center, drive northeast on Tórsgøta, then turn right onto Skansavegur. Limited free parking is available along Skansavegur. Be aware of parking restrictions indicated on blue signs, especially on weekdays (Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm), with potential fines for violations. Some parking spaces have time limits of 30 minutes to 2 hours. Several parking lots offer 8-hour parking within a 4-minute walk.
