From Kvívík, head towards the main road (Route 10) that connects to the village of Sandavágur. Follow the signs leading to Sandavágur. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach Sandavágur, look for signs directing you towards Bøsdalafossur Waterfall.
Walking
Once in Sandavágur, head towards the eastern part of the village. You'll want to follow the path that leads towards the base of the mountain range where the waterfall is located. Keep an eye out for local trails that are often marked. The trail to Bøsdalafossur starts at the end of the village, where you will find a sign indicating the path to the waterfall. This portion of the hike is approximately 2 kilometers and will take around 30 minutes.
