Start by heading to the ferry terminal in Nólsoy. You will need to catch a ferry to Tórshavn, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. Make sure to check the ferry schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, disembark and follow the signs to the main exit of the terminal.

After exiting the ferry terminal in Tórshavn, walk towards the main road, which is known as 'Tórshavn's waterfront.' From the terminal, turn left and continue along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with 'Gundadalsvegur.' You will see the National Gallery of The Faroe Islands at 9 Gundadalsvegur, which is a short 15-minute walk from the terminal.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a bus from Tórshavn's bus terminal to Gundadalsvegur. After exiting the ferry terminal, the bus terminal is a short walk straight from the terminal. Look for buses heading towards the city center and ask the driver for the best route to Gundadalsvegur. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and you will need to get off at the nearest stop to the National Gallery.
