If you are driving, start from the main town in Norðoyar, Klaksvik. Head south on Route 10. After approximately 15 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the exit onto Route 68 towards Haldarsvík. Continue on this road for about 10 km. Fossá is located just outside Haldarsvík, and you will see signs directing you to the waterfall. There is parking available near the site.

To reach Fossá via public transport, take the bus from Klaksvik to Haldarsvík. The bus service operates several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Haldarsvík, you can either walk to Fossá, which is about a 30-minute walk on well-marked paths, or you can try to arrange a local taxi to take you directly to the waterfall. Be mindful of bus schedules for your return trip.
