Driving
From Vágar Airport, drive west on Route 22 towards Sørvágur. In Sørvágur, follow Route 45 towards Bøur and Gásadalur. Skarðsáfossur is located near the tunnel entrance to Gásadalur, approximately 2 km from Bøur. Look for a small, unpaved parking area on the right side of the road before the tunnel. Parking is free. Be mindful of sheep.
Public Transport
From Vágar Airport, take bus 300 to Sørvágur. Then, transfer to bus 350 towards Bøur. Get off the bus before Gásadalstunnilin. From there, walk 2km towards the waterfall. A single bus fare is approximately 20 DKK.
Boat Tour
Several boat tours depart from Sørvágur that pass by Skarðsáfossur, often in combination with visits to Drangarnir and Tindhólmur. These tours offer a unique sea-level perspective of the waterfall. Prices vary, but typically range from 550 DKK per adult.
