Bus route 650 from Tórshavn will bring you to Sandur. From the Sandur bus stop, the museum is a short walk north on Áarbøur road. A single bus fare from Tórshavn costs approximately 30 DKK. Note that some bus departures require advance booking by calling the bus driver.

From Tórshavn, take Route 10 through the Sandoyartunnilin. Once in Sandur, follow signs to the village center. The museum is located on Áarbøur road. Parking is available near the museum. The Sandoyartunnilin toll is 130 DKK for a round trip.
