Walking

The Viking Sundial is located in the Tinganes district of Tórshavn, a short walk from the city center. From the Tórshavn Bus Terminal, walk east towards the harbor. Continue along the harborfront, passing the Tórshavn Cathedral on your left. Turn left onto Gongin, the main street of Tinganes, and follow it to the end of the peninsula. The Viking Sundial will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5 minutes and is free.
Public Transport

Take any of the red city buses (Bussleiðin) to Steinatún square in Tórshavn. From Steinatún, walk towards the harbor and follow the directions for walking from the city center. The bus is free.
