Walking
Start from Tórshavn city center, near the Waterfront. Head north on the main street, Áarvegur, until you reach the intersection with Havnargøta. Turn left onto Havnargøta and continue straight for about 600 meters. You will pass the Tórshavn Cathedral on your right. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street where you will see a path leading up to the hill. Follow this path uphill for approximately 300 meters. The Monument with a view will be located on your right, offering a panoramic view of Tórshavn and the surrounding area.

If you are starting from the Tórshavn Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and head southeast on the main road, Áarvegur, for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Havnargøta, turn right. Continue along Havnargøta for about 600 meters, passing the Tórshavn Cathedral. At the end of Havnargøta, take the path leading up the hill to your right. The Monument with a view will be approximately 300 meters up the path.

From the National Museum of the Faroe Islands, head south on the main road, Áarvegur, for about 900 meters. When you reach the intersection with Havnargøta, turn left. Walk along Havnargøta for about 600 meters, passing the Tórshavn Cathedral. At the end of the street, you will see a path leading up the hill. Follow the path for about 300 meters, and the Monument with a view will be on your right.
