    Walking

    From the town center of Tvøroyri, start at the main square near the church. Head east towards the waterfront, following the path along the coast. Continue walking along the shoreline for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end of the harbour. You will see a sign pointing towards Mykines. Follow the trail that leads up the hill, which will take you to the Memorial Monument after approximately 20 minutes of walking. The views along the way are stunning, so take your time to enjoy the scenery.

    If you are near the local museum, exit the museum and turn right towards the main road. Walk up the road for about 400 meters until you reach the fork. Take the left path that leads you towards the hillside. This path will eventually lead you to the Memorial Monument. It should take about 25 minutes to reach your destination from the museum, and be sure to pay attention to the markers along the way to guide you.
