If you are driving from the town of Sørvágur, head northwest on Route 40 towards Sandavágur. After about 5 minutes, you will reach the town of Sandavágur. Continue on Route 40 until you reach the intersection with Route 442. Turn left onto Route 442 and follow it for approximately 12 km. Look for a small parking area on the right side of the road where you can leave your car. From the parking area, the trailhead to Bøsdalafossur Waterfall is clearly marked.
