Continue on Route 40 until you reach the intersection with Route 442. Turn left onto Route 442 and follow it for approximately 12 km. Look for a small parking area on the right side of the road where you can leave your car. From the parking area, the trailhead to Bøsdalafossur Waterfall is clearly marked.
