Walking
From the center of Rakiraki town, begin at the main bus station. Head north on the main road, following signs towards Navolau. The walk takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Watch for local shops and markets along the way for refreshments. Continue straight on the main road until you reach a fork, then take the right fork towards Navolau. After about 10 minutes, you'll see Navolau School on your left. Continue past the school, and the Rest Stop - Navolau will be shortly after on your right, marked by a sign.
Local Bus
From Rakiraki town, walk to the main bus station and look for buses headed towards Navolau. Ask the driver if they stop at Rest Stop - Navolau or nearby. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once in Navolau, ask locals for directions or walk a short distance to Rest Stop - Navolau, visible from the main road. A short bus trip from Rakiraki to Navolau costs around $1-3 FJD.
