    Getting There

    Taxi

    From Nadi International Airport (NAN), a taxi is the quickest way to reach Port Denarau Terminal. Official yellow taxis are readily available outside the airport. The journey typically takes 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Agree on a fare beforehand, which should be between FJD 30-60. Note that taxis with LT plates are not permitted to provide pick-ups in Denarau.

    Public Transport

    The Westbus, a public bus service, offers an economical option from Nadi Airport to Port Denarau. First, take a local bus from the airport to Nadi Bus Terminal (approximately 30 minutes). Then, transfer to the Westbus, which will take you to Denarau Island. The total journey can take around 50 minutes, excluding wait times. The fare is less than FJD 5 per person, payable using an e-Transport card. E-Transport cards are available from Vodafone shops.

    Driving

    If driving from Nadi Airport, follow the Queens Road and then Narewa Road to Port Denarau. The drive is approximately 14 km and takes about 16 minutes. Parking is available at Port Denarau, with hourly rates starting from FJD 4, increasing to FJD 25 for up to 8 hours. Limited one-hour free parking is available around the perimeter of the lot. Be aware that the exit booth is often cash only.
