    Getting There

    Walking

    Most resorts and attractions within Denarau are easily walkable. From your resort, follow the clearly marked pathways to reach nearby destinations like Port Denarau or the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. Walking is a great way to enjoy the scenery and soak in the island atmosphere.

    Bula Bus

    The Bula Bus is a hop-on-hop-off service that connects all the resorts on Denarau. A full-day pass costs just over FJ$10 for adults, and children under 12 travel free with a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased at resort receptions, travel desks, and select outlets in Denarau Town. The Bula Bus operates from 7 am to 10:30 pm daily.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available on Denarau Island and can be a convenient option for reaching specific destinations. You can find taxis at designated stands or request one through your resort. A taxi from one end of Denarau to the other will typically cost between FJ$15-FJ$25. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

    Public Transport

    To reach Denarau from Nadi International Airport or Nadi Town, the Westbus is an affordable option. The fare is less than FJ$5 per person from Nadi to Denarau. Buses run frequently from 5 am to 11 pm. Note that cash is no longer accepted on buses; you'll need to purchase an e-Transport card from Vodafone shops.

    Parking

    If you have a rental car, complimentary parking is available at many resorts and apartments on Denarau Island. Port Denarau Marina also has a large car park, but fees apply. There is one hour of free parking right in front of the car park, but don't exceed this time limit to avoid a ticket. The Port Denarau car park has a fee, and accepts cash only.
