Djupviksgrottan is accessed via the Getabergen nature trail, Grottstigen, which starts near Soltuna Restaurang & Cafe. From the parking area, the trail begins behind the restaurant on the right side. Follow the white arrows, though they may sometimes appear grey, along the 5km trail. The hike to the caves takes approximately 2 hours. Remember to bring a torch and wear appropriate clothing.

From Mariehamn, take Bus Route 2 towards Geta. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes to Geta centrum. From Geta centrum, it is best to walk or take a taxi to Soltuna Restaurang & Cafe, where the Getabergen nature trail begins. Bus tickets cost around $3.
