Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Tampere, take the Outdoor Express bus, which operates on weekends from late May to early September, directly to the Seitseminen Nature Centre. The bus departs from the charter bus stop in front of the Tampere Railway Station. A one-way ticket costs €12 for adults, €10 for students and pensioners, and €6 for children (4-15). Tickets must be purchased in advance through Matkahuolto's online store or mobile application.

  • Car

    From Tampere, drive approximately 50 km north-west to Seitseminen National Park. Navigate to Seitseminen Nature Centre parking area (Kulomäki), Seitsemisentie 110, 34530 Länsi-Aure (Ylöjärvi). Use Ylöjärvi in navigation devices. Parking is available at the Nature Centre. There are four charging points for electric cars at the parking place of Nature Centre. Payment with eParking mobile app: 1€ starting fee, after that 1€/hour (3,6 kWh).

  • Taxi

    From Parkano train station, take a taxi to Seitseminen Nature Centre, which is 26 km away. Taxi services are available from local providers. A. Lamminmäki Oy charges €48 for 1-4 persons. Erkki Kallio charges €75 for 1-4 persons. Bookings are preferred a day in advance.
