Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Matinkylä, go to the Matinkylä bus stop (Matinkylä, Sello) near the Matinkylä shopping center. Take bus line 112 or 114 towards 'Tiistilä' or 'Mankkaa'. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Tiistilä' bus stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Tiistilä Boulder Field; follow the signs. A single ticket for public transport in Espoo costs approximately €3-4. Tickets can be purchased via the HSL mobile app, from vending machines, or at many shops and kiosks.

  • Walking

    From Matinkylä center, head northwest towards Tiistilä. Walk along the main road (Mankkaantie) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Tiistilä Boulder Field. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available throughout Espoo. A taxi ride from Matinkylä to Tiistilä Boulder Field is approximately 5km and will cost around €13.50. Taxi rates in Espoo start at €6.00, with an additional €1.50 per kilometer.
