Walking
From the Suomenlinna main ferry pier, follow the main path towards the center of the fortress. Signs will direct you towards the Great Courtyard (Iso piha). The Ehrensvärd Museum is located in the Commander's House (Komendantin talo) on the Great Courtyard, approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the pier. There is no entrance fee to Suomenlinna itself.
Public Transport
Take the HSL ferry from Kauppatori (Market Square) in Helsinki to Suomenlinna. The ferry operates year-round, with departures every 20-40 minutes. A single ticket costs approximately €3 and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at the main pier in Suomenlinna, follow the walking directions to the museum.
